sorcecode is for compiling apps. You can't just put it on your phone

A lil help please... I have been using winscp, then brickr. Winscp stopped working after the first time and ibrickr will only upload 'pxl' files. Is there another method of placing 3rd party apps on the phone? Even through jailbreak or something? Thanks
