I really liked the dock app for FW 1.1.x.
The dock for 2.x is not an improvement over the old version IMO.
Categories does a decent job at cleaning up the homescreen, but i think my idea could work even better.

I had this idea of making it so that the stock springboard dock can hold lets say, 15 icons, but only 4 or 5 showed on the screen. Swiping your finger sideways (eg: right) over the dock would scroll the dock sideways, hiding one icon on the right and revealing one on the left. (or more than one if swiped more violently)Dock

Is this possible to do? maybe an app could run over top of the empty stock dock. I am no programmer by any means but I just wanted to throw the idea around.

I think many people have mentioned this before.. Not a one icon at a time, but four, naturally. I personally just like having what is down there, down there.
