Does anyone have any news on the progress of iSlsk for 2.0?

The dev is trying to find a way to work around the security in iTunes that prohibits his software from importing the downloaded music to iTunes from your phone. So...the waiting continues

I just updated cydia abd a new thing called dtunes was in it, could islsk use that easier

dTunes only downloads to your phone after which you have to physically remove the music files to your computer. Islsk is trying to make it to where you can import it to iTunes from your phone instead of ssh'ing them off.

This is indeed terrible!

First no background application, now no self importing into itunes library for 2.0. I think I am sticking to 1.1.4 until all these issues get resolved!

Mabe someone should work out if it is possible to run 1.1.4 on 3G iphone, and still get access to GPS, and 3G radio. A sort of hybrid OS. 1.1.4 underpinnings, with 2.0 drivers for extra hardware in 3G models.

If you really want to use it now, just downgrade back to 1.1.4, untl such time more apps are ported from 1.1.4 to 2.0

dtunes is effortlessly filling the gap while we wait for islsk.
i'll bet with the release of dtunes, and so many users heading there (check the mmi repo stats) , errick (islsk creator) is not pleased...

although i still prefer to have islsk, as a substitute ive been using safari download plugin along with seeqpod the website, and dtunes.
