Wasn't sure where to post this..."Poof" App. question...
So I installed Poof and it was working well and all, but out of curiosity I decided to hide the Poof application itself, mainly to get rid of it off of my springboard, but also to see if I would still be able to access it if it was hidden...The answer is no. I can't access it anymore, can't find it, and can't find a way to make it reappear. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have tried pretty much everything but restoring, as I already have so much on it that I rather not have to. Does anyone know how I can make it reappear or at least access it again to continue hiding other apps?
Thanks

Don't know where to post it... my question: Poof is hidden...
Hi,
Same happened to me. I hid all apps off my springboard, including Cyndia, Installer and bossprefs where Poff was.
Is there a way to have bossprefs back/reinstalled so I can access Poof again?
BTW, I have an iPhone 8GB, FWR 2.1.
Thanks

Help!
working on windows, 2g iPhone updated too 2.1:
ok, my problem is that i want to have a clean screen like i had when i was on 1.1.1 - 1.1.4, since i updated to 2.1 (same story goes for 2.0) if i hide all apps with poof or the new replacement for bossPrefs which has poof in it, the phone freezes with a constant ring of death. then i have to restore.
i usually accessed the apps with Dock, which IMHO really bites the big one. the old dock was sooooo much smoother and easier to choose apps.
so to wrap things up, i wish i can have no apps on my screen without the phone frezing leaving me to force a restore! can anyone help, is there something i can install to fix this.

I have a jailbroken iPhone 2.1 Firmware.
Then, I run BossPrefs to hide Cydia and Installer.
Of course BossPrefs was still there.
Today, I upgraded to iPhone 2.2 firmware but I forgot to enable Cydia and Installer.
Now, I have no Cydia and Installer, and there is no BossPrefs too
I got the BossPrefs from the post #5.
But how can I install it?
The ssh is still not on and I cannot ssh to the device (note that it's just been jailbroken with QuickPwn 2.2).
Please help...

Suggestion
Use DiskAid, or something similar for windows. I use mac, so that's what I used. You might be able to install Cydia this way, just find some tutorial to install it manually.
