Uninstall Categories, and see if the apps will work again or not?
Just to be safe, go back in Categories and delete the folders that you have created so that your apps are back on the springboard before you delete Categories.

Categories is a neat app, but it requires your attention when setting it up.

Remove Categories. It seems to screw things up no matter what firmware its on.

Have you tried "Fix User Dir Permissions" in BossPrefs? Just an idea.

Go and download a free app from appstore...sync it up...sometimes it just needs to trigger to get it going.
