Noob question, cant get NES emulator to run
I just installed the NES emulator found on hacktheiphone.com and a few .nes files, but after restarting, when I launch it, all I get is a blank screen w/ carrier clock, batt, etc on top, and can't get back to home. After a delay, the app quits by itself and goes to the springboard. Any ideas? PS Im running software version 1.0.2 if it makes a difference.

make sure you use a scp client, such as WinSCP for windows, and right click both the NES and the ROMs, go to properties, and change the number to 0755, or just check all of the X boxes, that's what chmod + x means, although since you used install.app to get it, that may not be the problem, but you should check anyway

I updated the permission level on all of the ROMs and forgot the NES file...I am a huge idiot, thanks for the help.

You do not have to set permissions on ROMs.

ORLY???? From what I read (hacktheiphone I think) you had to, and it made sense to me since you would be "modifying" the ROM's (by playing them), but I am rather iRetarted (did I just make that up? if I did its free to use).

I am not 100% positive but I believe you need write on ROMS that would save state. (don't quote me on that I just seem to remember reading it recently.)
