Just out of curiosity, say I installed an application with Cydia....can I or should I even try to update that application or install it again, via Installer? or vice-versa?

1.x: Installer ruled the world.
2.x: Cydia kicks Installer's ***.

I simply have no use for installer nor do I trust the developer.

Too many restores I finally stopped including installer on my jailbreaks
