i really liked Installer in the past.
but since i upgraded my phone, i also got Cydia, and guys, Saurik´s Cydia is much better – is it because Installer is just Beta?

also, i think that Saurik is doing all this work not only from a moneymaking perspective (the future of Cycorder? which i don´t mind paying for), but also an intelligent and ideological perspective.

keep it real, keep it free – uhmm... keep it ideological

Installer may have had some relevance in the past, but its clear now that it is way too little, way too late.
I've had to completely restore my iphone because of the installer POS.
wasted hours, unnecessarily.
I will never infect my phone with the buggy installer garbage again.
Cydia delivers, that is all.

installer is trash, it never works, when you install stuff its hard to delete, has error on error. A lot of work needs to be done. Cydia is so reliable

I used to love installer back in the 1.1.4 days. Then I bought a 3G 2 days after release and kept the virgin until about this week. Alot of things have changed in 2 months. Installer seems so useless now. Cydia is probably in the lead by alot from the looks of everything I've seen in the last few days.

Anyone mind telling me what happened with installer/cydia over the last 2 months? I've searched but didn't find anything. Why the sudden massive change from installer to cydia?

Originally, on 1.1.4 Installer was the best but I think Cydia has surpassed Installer on 2.0
