Bookreader app problems

I have just installed bookreader app I have ssh the book a cross but it says it can't write a data files to the directory any idea

eBooks folder permissions

You must fix the permissions on your eBooks folder to 755 and make sure to do it recursive so it gets all the folders and files inside.

If you need detailed instructions, please make sure that you let me know which OS and what program you are using for scp.
