So, after aborting a winterboard update from Cydia (stalled) I have lost the following sounds: on/off 'click', plug in sound, ringer. Now, sound on ipod and apps is preserved and I can hear my ringtones when i select them in settings.

ive done the idiot proof stuff, and ive tried the headphones trick of putting them in and taking them out three times, etc. any thoughts?

I pwned my phone yesterday and lost my lock sounds and keyboard clicks. I did a hard reset with bossprefs and all was fine after reboot. If you don't have bossprefs then hold the power and home button down together to force a hard reset. Good luck.
