I think most stuff can be done by Winterboard but I still use Customize for some of my theme since I havent had a chance to redo it completely for Winterboard yet. I use Customize for my lockscreen, status bar icons like carrier, wifi, bluetooth, 3G/Edge symbol and bars, chat bubbles, dialer pad, and Winterboard for springboard wallpaper, app icons, black nav. bar, keyboard. Working on a Calculator skin that will work on Winterboard.

Have not seen where Winterboard can edit system strings or am I missing something? I think they work well together...Winterboard is great but right now not one tool can do it all in my opinion.

i still use customize to download some themes or whatnot. still has a bit more choices than cydia on themes. but otherwise i stick strictly with winterboard/cydia.

The thing I like about customize is that your not stuck to using an entire theme.. you can just use the icons, or just the background or just the slider from one theme and mix and match it with another. Hence the app name customize... winterboard is amazing, but without a proper GUI, it falls short of being a total replacment at this time since to pull only portions of a theme out, you have to SSH into the phone.

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

I use it for System Strings and when I'm done, it get's poofed.
Question?
Can one uninstall Customize and still have the System Strings stay intact?
