    Default How secure is SyncML?

For those that are sync'ng your calendar and contacts using this OTA sync method, how secure is the data being sent. And once its on a server, what type of access to your data do the server administrators have?
    Thanks

The security level depends on several factors.
are you connecting to your syncml server via SSL, if not then your data is being transmitted in the clear.

as with any system, the system administrators should they choose to look at your data can. We depend a lot of the basic trust worthiness of system admins, they, by definition have full access to the hardware, software and data.
