Safari won't store cookies?

So I'm running 1.1.2 OTB upgraded dev style to 1.1.3 and I've noticed recently that safari is asking me to re-log in just about everytime I want to do something on facebook, or igoogle. My guess is that for some reason I've stopped storing my login cookies on my iphone. I've messed around with the settings a bit, uninstalled some different software, and searched the web and found little help. Anyone out there that can help a brother out?

get the terminal running on the phone and use these commands to change the owner of the cookies folders.

chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/
chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist
