Ok I just got my iphone (1gen 4gb) today and Im wondering how do I put cydia on it? I followed the instructions and put the source in but when I try to install it, it says cant decode package more info at cydia.saurik.com/apptapp/. Im new to the whole iphone thing and I wanteed to use this.
Cydia should be installed when you jailbreak the phone. This site has both a guides section with step by step instructions and a wiki for more detailed answers. Id suggest reading through that stuff.
