sms notification acting up
for some reason when i get a text message, my phone makes the noise but nothing shows up on the lock screen. When I unlock the phone, it shows the notification above my icons and I have to manually go to the SMS app to view them.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Anyone know how to fix it without restoring?

How long have you had this problem?
Is your phone jailbroken?
Have you turned off your phone lately, if not just turn it off and turn it back on and see if that helps.

Yeah, sorry I forgot those details.
It was pwned then upgrade via itunes to 2.0.2 then quickpwned using firmware 2.0.1.
The problem started a day or two ago, and I have restarted my phone multiple times and restarted holding the power and home button to no avail.

Thats odd, lockscreen Text notification should be w/o the Reply/Close option.
So basically its just moved it from lockscreen to the homescreen..
Have you tested getting a Text while in the homescreen or in an app.
Normally it will give you the Text with the Reply/Close option.
EDIT:
Wanted to add that if everything else is working fine, consider yourself lucky that you can have your texts now hidden from the lockscreen.
Lot of people would love that option.Last edited by THEdAY; 08-25-2008 at 09:23 PM.

Did you add any new apps around the time it started acting up, or maybe make any adjustments in Winterboard?
