WeTool Crashes Instantly (1.1.3)

Does anyone knows how to do this with a MAC, i have Cyberduck as SSH client, but not sure there how to change the permission or how to run these lines. I really appreciate your help

try to change this permission:

chmod 777 /var/root/Library
chmod 777 /var/root/Library/Preferences

the steps to create those symlinks are:

1) install BSD subsystem and OpenSSH

2) check the ip the iphone got from your wireless network (when you got on the wireless network push the small button on the right next to the wireless name)

3) downlod putty

4) connect to the ip you previosly checked (using ssh)

5) username: root - pwd: alpine

6) copy and paste the 2 lines witht he symlink

tried all from above but is not working. made the symlinks, chmoded but still no change. wetoolus keeps crushing as soon as i started. please, any help is appreciated.

thanks. i symlinked all three and it works. i tried without symlinking address book, but no go without the address book. probably because when wetool loads, it first loads the address book and if it can't find it, it crashes

WETOOL is now PERFECTLY working in my 1.1.3 iphone

i just do this thing:

For starters you need to delete the following folders,if this folder is existing on ur iphone otherwise disregard this and go to next step (pay CLOSE attention to their location--they are in /var/root):

/var/root/Library/AddressBook/
/var/root/Library/CallHistory/
/var/root/Library/SMS/

I USED WINSCP. THEN EXECUTE THE COMMANDS IN TERMINAL

Then execute the following commands:
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/AddressBook /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/CallHistory /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/SMS /var/root/Library/

Would these work for 1.1.4? I tried WeTool on 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 abd get the same error... I suppose I could try it anyway - could it damamge anything on 1.1.4?

Just in case anyone is still having problems with this or anything else.

I have it working perfectly on 1.1.4, but just one point: when doing the command
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/AddressBook /var/root/Library/.

I already had a file called AddressBook in /var/root/Library so I just simply deleted it and then everything worked perfectly.

I used this method prior to version 0.3.9

Few days ago, version 0.3.9 came out, i installed it and found out that deleting of SMS will casue weTool to close instantly and back to home screen .

where did i go wrong ? Please help.

I was kinda lazy to fire up WinSCP and go through the process, but I had nothing else to do so I was like "meh, might as well get WeTool working.." Hah.. +1
