Maps.app frozen - never have I seen this problem
On a 2.01 winpwned phone - my maps locked up after doing a search Friday night - after clicking the pin head to display the info from the search - the screen locks up and the touchpad is non responsive. I am able to use the home button to exit Maps.app - at which point I can launch and use any other app. If I open maps again - it goes to the exact same locked screen. Neither respeing nor reboot (hard and soft) has any effect).
Any thoughts??? Open to suggestions - I need a different perspective - I don't want to restore
Thanks ~above~
For another bump - does anyone know where I can simply redownload maps.app??? I see a bunch of old sources - but nothing for 2.x out there.
Anyone... anythingLast edited by aboveliquidice; 08-24-2008 at 02:39 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

If the above methods doesn't work, try SSH into your phone and replace the Maps.app (not sure if this is the actual name of the folder, but basically you want the googlemaps folder) with a stock, non-altered one. If you need it, just ask, I can upload for you.

Thanks! I've had this problem before and emailing yourself a google maps link seems much better than having to "reset all settings."
