iPhone video recorder vs cycorder??

Simple questions which is better iphone video recorder or cycorder?

1. Which is better overall?
2. Which is better if you don't consider money as a factor?

I knew it was only a matter of time till one of these sprouted up.

Cycorder has limited functionality as of right now, so I would pick IVR if I actually wanted to take a proper video. (This should hopefully change over time.) Personally, I don't enjoy being thugged out of cash by IVR.

Word.

Cycorder also yields a much higher quality video, according to Poetic Folly's post in the News section. Combine this with the promise of audio down the line...it's a no-brainer AFAIC.

IVR hasn't helped itself by promising non-existent features in it's About file (Email)...or for ignoring anyone who has the temerity to ask why it's not in the App Store.

You ssh into your phone and copy the videos from there.
They are located in /var/mobile/Media/Videos

Cycorder all the way. Already better, even without sound. And I hear he might be releasing a pay-for version for under $10. <--------- But zero confirmation on that.

Hopefully this changes, having to SSH into the phone to get videos off it is a huge letdown to the app

if developers are able to create video recorders and zooming options for their camera programs, why in eveything that is freaking holy didn the iphone team do all this beforehand??? this is really weird and not something new? any mobile phone (from the 2000 era and some even before) had digital zooming, video recording (with audio) and not to mention that most new mobile phones come with atleast 3-5 mega pixel cams.

still dont know why they do all this..

sorry for going off subject,

form my point of view, i had the old recorder and then removed it when i found out i need to buy it to have the other features, and when i downloaded cycorder, i found a HUGE difference in the frames. much much better, but still could be better when possible.

pay for the audio feature.. ofcoarse YES

as for the SSHing the videos, not a big hassel, but then there is no other way

From what I have seen, it looks like Cycorder has more of an upside. Saurik is an established developer, will soon be adding sound, and will most likely be upgrading this app until it is top notch...

cycorder is much better than dreamcatcher's version. I'll definitely pay for the cycorder for full functioning version. saurik deserves that. I wonder he can make it 30fps 640x480 tho.. it would be sweet. LG Viewty have 5MP Aurofocus 120fps w/ awesome lens <--iphone should take a look at what LG had done.

well.. Yeah, but then they'd have to spend more than 20 bucks on the camera part, can't have that, can we?
