all day and night iv been restoring, must have done at the very least 10 restores. every time i download something from cydia it freezes when its finished installing, so i reboot the iphone and it gets stuck in an endless reboot. im on pwned 2.0 firmware on a 2g iphone, please help im getting so frustrated

try waiting longer when it freezes? Mine freezes as its updating, usually takes no more than 1-3 minutes depending on size of app, then will unfreeze and you can go back to cydia.

ok so it seems it happens whenever i install mivtones it gets stuck on swod when i tap reload springboard, is there anything i can do so i dont have to restore yet again?

I have upgraded my iphone to 2.2 after that it is pernmently unlocked. But i lost Cydia and Installer in my Iphone.

Anyone can help me how to get Cydia into my Iphone

Run quickpwn or use the pwnage tool to re-jailbreak it.

Try firmware 2.2... and don't install mivtons anymore. Seems simple to me.

I had this problem a lot on 2.0

It went away with 2.1 and 2.2
