books application not working with "ebooks by chris" respository.

For those of you that read, and have the Blaze Ultimate repository installed, you may have noticed that on 1.1.3 all of the ebooks in that repos no longer work. I assume this has to do with that whole confusing issue with things needing to point to /mobile instead of /root or whatever.

Is there an easy way for me to fix this?

And also, am I crazy or are installs dissapearing off of people's repositories? Interview with a Vampire isn't on there anymore, among other things. I can't find BigBoss's NES game pack either.

i just set the chmod to 775 for the folder, and the books file and it worked

i did what he did and it worked..change the permissions for the eBooks folder and ur books.app folder to 775...

Hi,
When I open the Books application, it just froze and the "loading" image just keeps on loading. Does anyone know how to fix that? I tried changing the chmod to 775 like someone suggested, but it didn't work.
Please help.

I'm having the same problem myself. I just installed the application after having to restore my iphone.

when i start the books application a blue message box appears like there's an error, but the box is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen and you can't read what is in it (if anything) When you touch it, it goes away.. but the loading circle stays and spins.

Found the answer to the problem..

I can't use Books due some dialog window - iPhone eBooks Support | Google Groups has the fix. move the EBooks directory out of the root and move it to media
