so what use is Installer right now anyways?

I have the beta version of Installer on my 3G and granted i havent added any other sources (what sources are even out there for Installer for 2.0?).. but there isnt ANYTHING on there.

Where as Cydia is perfect. i like it even more than i did Installer on my 1st gen iphone.

It has all the newest apps right away, sometimes even before i read about them on any sites.. and without even having to add new sources.

So what use is Installer right now if nothing is on it and you have to add sources to even get what you want. Im not bashing Installer here, im just wondering why its out right now if nothings on it.

Well, it's beta software. I'm not sure what you expect. Once beta testing is over then it'll have more apps and sources

Of course there isn't ANYTHING, there were no sources from my understanding. From the screenshots I saw, there were like 2 test apps. Wait until STE, MMi etc. are porter over and then Installer will be great..

the new pwnage tool is said to be released today and that comes with the new installer so faster your seatbelts!!
