Any time you install a program that is constantly running like Intelliscreen or Video Wallpaper or SSH or WIFI... etc... your battery will drain faster. This is exactly why Apple has that restriction on App Store apps.

Was it doing any reminders or email checking during this time also?

While Poseidon is 100% correct, some of the options in the program can also cause an extra decrease. For example if you had call or sms alerts turned on and got a call or sms and the reminders activated every 10 or 15 minutes for 4, 5 or 6 hours, that would also cause the excess drain.

You can always turn the app off at night too, and then just turn it back on in the morning.

I have also noticed that Intelliscreen is pretty rough on the battery, regardless of the time interval.

I'd be happy if Taskbar Notifier is updated for 2.0.
