NetShare, the app that almost was
I tried sending a tip to this since I figured it would be big news, but it looks like it died before it was given a chance to start.

NetShare was just released today a little big ago and provided an official AppStore approved way of tethering your phone. Apparently, approved was use lightly in this case as it seems the app has already been taken down. You can still see it in the store but as of maybe 20 minutes ago, you can't seem to buy it.
I guess AT&T is keeping SOME eyes in the store :P

yup... just checked the app store and it there again... well i guess it's just another way to tether your phone without jailbreaking it... i prefer saving my $9.99 for a gallon and a half of gas and just jailbreaking and installing 3proxy and mobile terminal

I bought it last night, good for those that aren't jailbroken, but the same thing as 3proxy really. I'm sure AT&T is not going to be real happy about it. We'll have to wait and see how they respond to all the tethering that will be going on now.
