All i want to do is have it so when you touch the icon for it on the springboard it opens up safari at a certain website.

I've tried apper and it doesn't work, it just shows a grey image with a curved line through the middle.

Please tell me how to do this or provide me with some files that i can easily change to get it to work.

I'm using an iPod Touch aswell so that may be the reason that apper doesn't work maybe since its an iphone-made app and some sometimes need to be changed a bit to work on the iPod Touch.

I have used apper on the 'Touch without any problems at all.
I suggest that you persist with it.

there are a couple apps that add an extra icon to your desktop, and when you click on it, it will bring you to a certain site... but if you want to replace it with safari, witch you can do and will act like a homepage oppener you just have to move it with customize, change the icon image, and folder name throught winscp. But other then that there is an app that does that on the installer
