Is Mobile Chat free or does it use your texts messages

I only ask because I just read somewhere that if you use instant messaging on mobile phones that you will be charged for every message you send or receive, just like how text messaging works. If anyone knows can you please let me know because I only have the unlimited data/200 text message plan because I dont texted that much. So if anyone knows if mobile chat deducts your text messages everytime you send or receive a instant message please let me know because Im in fear that I might have gone over my texts by at least 500 so far. If it just uses your data then Im fine because I have unlimited data.

it just uses your data... all included with ANY unlimited data plan!

Im not a noob, I just never really used instant messaging on a phone or computer. So are you 100% sure as long as I have unlimited data I will not be charged in any way for using mobile chat.

BUT, I KNOW DATA ISN'T SMS... and I use Apollo!

well, i know it only uses data while you are using edge, does that mean if your using wi-fi it wont use your data?

yes. it will use the wifi and not data. and no it doesnt use text. it uses the data.
