    Yes, sure.
Provided that You know the ip of your home network pc or server.
Set you PC as server when you run the VNC there and from iphone set as client
put the proper IP into you iphone to sync with you Public IP for your home pc, wholaaaa.... you are connected from outside wherever you find wifi (or even edge).

i must be missing something here because im getting error message all the time from VNsea saying conection failed then ip address and then post 5900.. it will only work with the ip that the winVNC server gives me, and my iphone will only connect to the server if im using my wifi, again today i tried it at work but it wouldnt connect, just sat at the loading screen.

iv been looking around on my routers settings ( bt business hub ) and theres a section that turned off. public routed subinterface, and the other is public proxied subnet. do i need to enable any of these for it too work. or has this nothing too do with it.

for the guys and gals that can do this what server program you using??

    Oopps,
You need the proper Port when setting the VNsee in in the iphone.
Check your server port and match it, then you can be connected.
I use WinVNC and it works find till now.
By the way, set your display = 12

Darn.... you use proxies....., In standard network interfacing, if you use
proxies, Yes you need to enable it to make it sync with the iPhone VNSee.
Normally, the proxies will reroute the IP and it comes with different port number
and the std port is 8080.
Try to enable it, if it does not work, post your findings again here.
I shall check it out using my own Iphone and set my server with the proxies
and see what is happening and revert you back.
    Thx.
