Default Installing Video Recorder & other FREE apps using iTunes
With ringtones you can convert the file to AAC and then rename the file with a "m4r" extension and then sync it to your iPhone using iTunes.

I tried doing the same with Video Recorder and using the extension "ipa"
and it did show up in my applications menu in iTunes. However, it did not let me sync. Has anyone else tried this? Is it possible? I think I was real close.

dev team doesnt take donations, and 114 apps wont work on 2.0 even if you did find some way to put them on. even after 2.0 is jailbroken it wont make 114 apps work.
