Yes I searched and none are what my phone is doing I installed it from the installer and I wanted to uninstall it and I can't I went to installer then the uninstall section and I don't see anything.

I'm having the same problem, Kate shows up in Installer, but says "script error" every time I try to uninstall. Can't even set my own wallpaper on springboard! I think kate is interfering. How did you uninstall?

People still "use" Kate because people do not warn them in advance. Why is kate even available on Cydia, Installer, etc. if it causes so many problems? Why isn't it blacklisted? Why don't you start a sticky thread like "Apps to Avoid at all Costs!" or something?
