Development Packages

I've looked all over for the last couple of months and for the life of me cant figure out what the development packages under installer are for?


I installed the PHP package and light tpd, but cant run php files on the phone. Am I missing something, very confused here, please clarify someone....:

It doesn't look like lighttpd comes configured for PHP on the iPhone - you need to reconfigure.
