Fix corrupt GoogleMaps application??

Somehow my google maps program got corrupt. It won't properly display streets on the map view. It shows pixelated distortions... The program allows me to map directions, it just won't display the "map mode"

How can I fix this problem? Change permissions? Can someone help me?!?

Just got the same problem, anyone kow how to fix this? Try reboot the phone but still not working right.

Guess no one knew how to fix this.

I've just restored it and it's working okay once again, painful but no other choice.

This happened to me last week... no one was willing to help - Now that you have restored - SSH into your phone and make a backup of your maps.app folder. Store it in a safe place - if it ever goes corrupt again - you can just restore from backup.

Ok guys i think i figured out how to fix this problem....
If your having the same problem as me google maps was using the same map tile for the entire screen... to fix this delete this file
/private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/MapTiles/MapTiles.sqlitedb
once you restart google maps it will recreate the file with out errors.
