How to put 5 icons on Dock (1.1.4)

How?? customize doesn't have the option anymore. What is the easiest way right now?

I think Kate is the easiest way.

You have two options. 1) Pay $45 for Kate and use that to activate the 5 icon dock. 2) Install Customize 2.0 and Freeboard and use that to activate the 5 icon dock. Be aware that Freeboard is still in beta and may be a bit unstable but it's FREE.

first time i used kate it messed up my iPhone.
Second time again.
i went for the third and guess what!!!
yes it did it again, so kate is not a good option.
First time i used freeboard i tried to use the 5 icon dock but didn't work, just got the 4 icon dock, so i uninstalled it and my iphone stayed working good, today i give another chance to freeboard and it worked prefect.
Tips; install freeboard~open customize~enable freeboard (if it is on, toggle off exit customize comeback and toggle it on)~reboot phone~open customize~toggle on 5 icon dock on freeboard~turn off the other two options~open summenrboard and enable again icon theme.

Ghosty, Kate is harmless to your phone. You just installed it along with Dock, Screenshot, or other similar apps that use the UIkit. The new Kate doesn't conflict anymore. I hate that people talk down about things they know nothing about.

Also, it helps to learn english.

Ok, first i'm not saying kate damgame my phone, i know it is harmless i just said it didn't work for me, Second I know what kind of pain cause install UIkit apps along with others, I'm not new with iPhones, I live it before each time i had to restore my first iPhone.

Second I just had installed BSDSubsystem OpenSSH and SummerBoard the second time I installed Kate, the Third I just installed BSD and OpenSSH, then kate.

you are quite right, that what i'm trying to do LEARN since I've been spoken spanish for 22 years of my live and just about 6 months learning english, again SO WHAT.

I've been using Customize 2.0 and Freeboard for about a month with the 5 icon dock and I must say that it works quite well for me. I've never had Kate installed even back when Kate was called Caterpillar. I read how much Kate messed up other people's iPhones. Freeboard has never given me a problem.

WAHOO, i tried it about 2 weeks ago and freeboard never stayed on when i tried exiting customize by rebooting the springboard. so i just uninstalled it. reinstalled it today and works flawlessly.

the first time i installed the 5 icon dock via freeboard it worked great until i installed intelliscreen and when i rebooted it got stuck on the boot screen so i had to restore/re-jailbreak/re-unlock lol. i installed the 5 icon dock (freeboard) again but not intelliscreen bc im afraid ill have to restore again has anyone else had that happen to them? btw freeboard works perfectly with all my current apps and summerboard theme

hmm it seems like there are so many different experiences across the board here. I had installed freeboard over a month ago. Then I installed intelliscreen maybe a few weeks ago. Not to mention I have 90+ apps installed (including stock apps) and I haven't had a problem. It feels VERY good not having had to restore and rejailbreak for this long. I have broken my record for longest jailbreaked iPhone. I actually forget now when I last restored. But I followed all instructions carefully and did my research for certain apps before blindly downloading them like I used to and so far so good. I'm kind of worried though about when I get my 3G iPhone. I hope the jailbreaking process as well as the apps install go smoothly. I should have it by beginning of August. Meantime though I'm still loving my current original iPhone. Not getting 2.0 until I am forced to use it on my 3G iPhone LOL. :P

How do I change what the icons ARE on the 5-icon dock? I just installed it, and the 4 icons that were there since I got the ipod just moved to the left a little, making room for a 5th.

OH. CRAP.
after I did that, I was messing with a couple other applications. I used a filebrowsing application, and after I selected a certain folder the ipod suddenly bricked. I waited like 10 minutes and it stayed at that stupid apple screen. now I have to restore it.
this SUCKS. I have ot wait over 10 hours for it to sync again, put on all the 80 or so apps I had... and the worst part: I never wrote down all the sources I added.
