hello there fine people. i'm having a problem i found a thread on in the 'touch forums, but there was new resolution and as this is really an iphone question i'm reposting it in hopes someone can help me out, as i am well versed with my phone and its workings but i am stumped.

after a reboot my settings app works fine, once it has been on for awhile or i sync with itunes, my setting app then only has a few items, and those items have the ipod touch icons. something like wifi, music, video etc. although in the general settings it still knows it has some bluetooth information. i'm going to replace my Preferences.app that someone has uploaded here and see if that fixes it. i just can't think/find what has caused this to happen. i've been bustin' out of jail since the first one went public and i've never had my iphone do something this weird.

any information on the cause of this problem would be greatly appreciated.
