Uninstalling Customize Help
I was wondering how i would go about uninstalling customize from my phone using winscp.....i followed the instructions on this forum for installing it using winscp and i was wondering if i just delete the folder in the applications section or is there something more i should do to make sure its completly uninstaled...
... its not in my installer as an app so i cant uninstall it using installer... i followed the directions to install it through winscp.
....i never used the program i have just been installing the files i want through winscp...so i would like to uninstall it....let me know what i should do..Thank you

1- Get connected thru SSH, Ctrl+T and type "apt-get remove Customize" in terminal.
2- If the package is physically gone, you can remove it from Installer by editing the installed packages file which is root/var/mobile//Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist (thru SSH)
3- Ctrl+F then type Customize.
4- Remove everything between <dict> and </dict> include the tags.
5- Save your changes.
6- Shut down iPhone then power on again.

Thank you..i will give it a try
well i would do the opposite but to install it i had to drag and drop the file in the app folder. then step 6 was: " Now, open your terminal application through WinSCP. The easiest way to open up Terminal in WinSCP is to simply press Ctrl+t. This will pop up a window that looks like a command port. Just simply copy and paste the following commands:
/bin/chmod -R 755 /Applications/Customize.app
HIT EXECUTE
/bin/chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize
HIT EXECUTE
so i want to make sure everything is uninstalled..is that ok with you?
