hey guys i need some really big help

ok so i have a 1.1.4 jailbroken ipod touch.

the problem is that install won't open!!!!! i went into squid and checked the right boxes. <--- that didn't work so i downloaded winscp. then i find out i have to install ssh on my ipod touch!!! but installer doesn't work. plzz help me :'(

plz don't say i have to restart my ipod touch :'(

well just install iphone browser (google it)
then find your way to user/libary/installer and delete remote packages.

i'm kinda dumb when it comes to this stuff.
i need step by step

also i don't have and iphone i have touch

what happens when u try opening installer?
does it open and then goes back to the homescreen?
or nothing happens? do u have a file browser already installed [before u had this prob]

should still work the same


ok here goes:
1.download and install either iphone browser or iphone pc suite (google them)
2. connect your ipod touch
3.it may ask you to do some steps...do them
4. now on iphone browser you need to click on the [root] folder, if it hasent already been open, then look down to a folder called user..click the lil plus sign, then you want to look down a lil and find library, then click on the installer package... now on that folder delete Remotepackages.plist and only that one.
5. restart ipod and open installer.


almost the same with the pc suite but you have to click on finder and follow the same process.

yeah when i open installer it goes back to home screen. file browser ummm...i didn't have it installed at the time.

Jailbreak again using Ziphone, that should fix it for you!
