Just installed customize through installer

I did change permissions to 777 when launching it launches then crashes same happened before I changed to 777.

install SUID Lib Fix

Even with the SUID Lib fix, I belive you want the permissions set at 755. It may have been a coincidence, but ever since I set them to 777 customize has refused to change anything.
