problem with ScummVM games

i installed the emulator through apptapp. i find that when i open the program and ask it to add a game it shows me a directory that starts at / but only allows me to slide down to library. i see mac osx, applications, bin, cores, etc, library but the slider goes down no further.

so if i put any of the games i was able to download like FOTAQ or indiana jones no matter where i place them the player can't find them . it says put games anywhere suggesting var/root/ but regardless of where i've put them, they can't be found.

now my NES and gba games are in their own folders under games in media...do i need to make sub folders for these lucas arts games? i just can't seem to figure out what i'm doing wrong

the games have to be unrarred, and placed into a folder.

so, for example:

var/root/media/Scumm/IndJones3/

and that folder will contain, for example, the files contained in the RAR file you downloaded.
