Multiple Instant Messenger app?

Have been looking around, and see a couple different ones, just not sure which one would work best for me. I would like a native IM app (not a website) that would allow me to login and chat with my contacts from MSN, Yahoo, and AIM. Would prefer not to use multiple apps to do this.

Suggestions? Comments? Reviews from anyone?

I would suggest Apollo.

Apollo doesn't support Yahoo. You're probably best using Beejive until a decent client app comes out, as there isn't one around yet

I tried to install Apollo, but got an error saying "Package download failed!" Click the image to open in full size.

I hadn't heard of beeJive, and just checked it out. Yeah, it's a web app, but it does work, and it will "fit the bill" for now.

I seem to recall some way to add a URL as an icon to the Springboard...need to remember how and do that so it's easier to launch. If anyone remembers how to do that, let me know. Will probably need to create an icon for beeJive, but that shouldn't be a problem.

I think we as an iPhone community need a stable single-instant messegner app first before we have multiple ones...

I am entering a title, the URL, and the path to the icon I created (attached to this message.)

edit: Hmmm...wouldn't work in SlimBrowser, but it does in FireFox. No worries.

Anyone know the correct way to build an XML so I can add this to my own repository? I've been trying to figure that out for a while...

Make sure the icon is named .png

Maybe a problem with the server, though it works fine here

EDIT: I just created a Beejive app, it's on the homepage for download

So did I, but now I can't SSH into my iPhone, something is wrong with the latest NetWork Services...I updated it this morning and now it's not working. I turn SSH on, but it seems to stay off for some reason. WinSCP says connection refused, and if I exit NetServices and go back in, SSH is off again.

edit: Was a problem with NetServices that's been fixed.

So I copied over the BeeJive.app, but when I go to launch it, I just get a black screen, then it exits back the SpringBoard...

D'oh! Had to manually set the permissions. Works now. :-)

I'd still like to know how to properly write an XML file so I can add it to my own installer repository.
