TomTom - TamTam

I Know very little about Mac apps being a windows user, But I stumbled across this little app for OSX and wondered what would be involved in porting this to the Iphone?

The app is/was called TamTam (see http://www.equinux.com/us/company/ne...il.html?id=210) it looks like all development has ceased which is a shame, but the download is still available (see http://www.equinux.com/us/download_thanks/TamTam.dmg)

If there is a way to port the app, this would open up the use of the maps, I know this is only 50% of the problem as the app will also need to connect to a bluetooth GPS receiver (which is not going to happen until Apple open up the bluetooth stack), but its a start at least, and the maps can be handy when walking through citys (for those citys that google knows little about).
