gpsphone update 2.0.0-2, now crashes

worked fine this morning. added tons of roms and was having a blast lol

got to work, had wifi so i refreshed sources, ran the update on gpsphone (thought, it can only get better right? better fps? better stability? better working game list?)

boo, now it jus crashes, says i need gb bios but i already had that, and i still do, checked with iphonebrowser. what the heck happened? and why do i see another update to downgrade the gpsphone lol

Yeah I had it installed, but the MMi package had main execution script error, and deleted my already installed app. What I did was add the package from zodttd's repo, then copied it onto my cpu, uninstalled the zodttd package, then manually added the .app folder back with the bios, did permissions, and Im good to go...

the only thing it added for me was ads,

and I can't play either, I want to play my pokémon

found out the problem

it deleted "gba_bios.bin", so you have to copy it again to gpSPhone.app folder

Nice find; confirmed that adding the bios corrects the problem.

It was only a matter of time before some ignorant jackass would post this.

only reason i say it annoys me, is cuz it laggs out the app til the ad is loaded and if the connection is slow, it laggs hard for a good few seconds to long, every time i go back to the games list.

i understand the reasoning behind ads in apps tho

that's just crap. he didn't even inform me that i'm going to waste data on my very limited data plan while playing an offline app.

because the creator of the software decided to include adware in his free application without warning and some of these ads include softcore porn. But anyways if you don't have wifi and edge isn't working or gprs then the app will freeze while it trys to load the banner. i cant believe he put online adds in a offline app so people with no data plan can't use it without wifi. very smart.
