I've got 2 themes that show up in the SummerBoard list of themes when I click the SMBPrefs button but aren't in the Themes folder inside my iPhone. They are the first 2 in the list and are .AppleDouble and :2eDS_Store

I'd like to delete them, does anyone have any suggestions?

Those are hidden files that are in your Themes directory, make sure you can see all the files and then delete them. Or just run the rm command in the ssh window and delete those two files/folders.

Hi Dixit,

I tried to use the rm command and it said no files or directories by that name. Could you please help me get rid of these files? I recently switched to Netatalk thinking it was safer than CyberDuck & now my Apple is leaving these stupid files in WinterBoard & God knows where else.

I'm new here so pardon me if I'm not down with the lingo yet. lol

"rm" is just a commad delete files. You need to call out the file, you cant just run rm.

has to be like:
rm file.ext

That would delete the file called "file.ext"

If you need to know the exact name of the file, then run the command "ls -l" and you will see the name of it.

Now I'm being cheeky, but what exactly is "ls -l?" I put it in and it came up with:

I'm sorry but I'm not too experienced with this. I'm still learning how to program with Cocoa. Could you please tell me the following steps to free my phone of these junk files? And lastly, will these files come back again when I connect?

You need to get into the directory where these fles are stored. I dont have Winterboard anymore, and this thread is over 2yrs old, so I cant walk you through this as you need.
