Apps not showing up...

I looked to see if there were any other threads regarding this, and couldn't find any, so don't flame.
Just recently after I've been installing apps via installer (latest version), they wouldn't show up. I tired reinstalling, restarting, uninstalling etc. but no matter what i do I can find it. They're all in my list of apps i can uninstall, just theyre not on my home screen or anything. and i would just install dock, or stack or something, but when i do that, it says "main script execution failed"
this is no bueno, so please help?

bump?

Firmware 1.1.1, and the apps that this has happened to are; NES, Mobile Chat, Apollo, and a few otheres i can not remember.
Most of these require BSD subsystem, so i figured I'd reinstall it, but that did nothing.
