Best way to organize apps?

STACKS
The best (nicest looking) way to organize your apps would be with 4 or 5 stacks in the dock. One stack for games, one for phone stuff, one for internet stuff and one with utilites etc.. In the "games" stack is your 4 favourite games and on the top of the stack is a launcher with the rest of the games.

1. 4-5 stacks
2. rename stacks
3. use icons for the stack instead of the default "all-apps-in-the-stack-on-top-of-eachother"

is this possible? someone working on it or has everyone given up on stacks?

What do you think would be the best way to organize apps?

I keep the primary Apple programs on page 1, Utilities and productivity on pages 2 and 3 and Games on page 4.

Yeah I seem to follow this same format for my apps on the homescreen...However I like the first posters idea! It would be great if it were built into iDemocracy....

I dont like a scrolling home screen... I keep the all the stock icons in thier stock positions on one page, BUT, since I never use the "stocks" application, I've replaced it with XLaunch, and I access all my 3rd party apps from there!

Looks good!! but to compicated. But this shows that it works and hopefully someone will make a GUI version. Maybe SpicyChicken will add it to costomize =D

Also, it would be great if the stacks icons didnt show while the app loads =/
