Quick question... I really want to test this but does anyone know since i revirginized my iphone before updating to 1.1.1 and used anysim 1.1 to unlock.... can i just do the ok to prep program update to 1.1.2 and then unlock using anysim 1.2.1?

Nope...Anysim 1.2 will not work in 1.1.2 You need to downgrade after upgrading to 1.1.2 as in the guide.

Used this one, worked fine for me, but I had to do the 1.1.1 restore a second before iNdependence could break it out of recovery mode... (read about other people having that same issue elsewhere)

i was in the middle of using this guide - when hacktheiphone went offline!!

I just finished restoring to 1.1.1, and now I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do! Do you remember?

nevermind. it's back - but after doing the 1.1.1 restore, my phone is locked again - as in, my fido sim doesn't work. is this right? will it be unlocked again by the time i get to 1.1.2? I don't see any other steps for unlocking again..?

hello im memphis, im stuck, pleas need ur help, i tried using anysim 1.2 on fw 1.0.2 and 1.1.1, and doesnt work, at the end of the progress anysim pupsup a quick error that i cant read and my iphone remains locked, i have the 3.9 bootloader and now after the upgrade i have the 4.02.13_G baseband fw, please do i need to revirginize??? and how do i do that? please now im worried, if u can e-mail me i`ll be thankfull

Holy Cow!! I used this guide to move my apps to my media section when i was on 1.1.1. But i removed it using the instructions on the bottom of the page...

Now, when i go into App, it brings me to the var/root/ROOT_Applications /Applications. I cant find the Applications menu anywhere which holds the native iphone appz. Am i screwed? Please help me!

OK this worked flawlessly for me. I had a 1.1.1 unlocked by AnySIM 1.1 iPhone and I have successfully upgraded to an unlocked and activated 1.1.2 iPhone.

I had a ton of errors - with onesim and anysim,
but somehow I just kept going and it all works.
I did a combination of this guide and the guide over at hacktheiphone.
