Hi-

I bought my iPhone months ago and hacked it more recently, about one month ago. It could always, however, connect to EDGE; hacked or normal. I live in Suburban LA, so I know there aren't any sub-EDGE networks.

Recently, though, for no reason, it could no longer activate EDGE. Every time I try to refresh my mail, log onto Apollo, use Safari, or Stocks, etc., (anything that involves EDGE usage) I get the message "Cannot Activate EDGE" and thus the refresh fails.

I've powered off and on my phone, reset it, and even taken out and reinserted the sim card. Nothing has worked.

I urgently need this fixed, and considering my void warranty, I can't bring it to the Apple store.
