It depends on what firmware you're on. If you're running 1.1.4 you might try customize 2.0

Register at Customize, a native iPhone application by The Spicy Chicken
add customizeapp.com/plist/installer to your sources and then look for customize 2.0 in Utilities.

Make sure you are upgraded to the newest version Beta 9 at this point. When you open up the program there are 3 Options under "Customize Tools". The last one is "Edit System Strings"

Customize will not load when tapped

I installed the latest version, Customize 2.0 b9 from the installer on my iPod Touch and it shows on the home screen. However when I tap on the icon it starts to loac and I get the "Spicychicken" screen and then in returns to the home screen. I have uninstalled and installed it 4 or 5 times with the same results.

Do I need to change the permissions (I use WinSCP)?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the info.

I also found this information in another thread:

http://www.modmyi.com/forums/general...-4-iphone.html

I registered my Touch on the spicychicken website and when I get home I'll change the permissions via WinSCP.
