How to delete a third party app and icon?

How do i get rid of stuff i dont want?
Like the flashlight thingy, dont want on springboard, cant figure out how to delete....

anyone?

also just installed sysinfo app it took out my wallpaper? reset it but it doesnt stick? returns to battery indicator...want my wallpaper back....how to delete app?

Well if installer dosent work, in iPhoneBrowser or something like it, its under Applications, then just completely delete the whole folder of that app.

In finder or launcher open installer and the uninstall the apps. you don't want. You could delete in finder. But it would be cleaner to uninstall it you can
