Ok ssh help!

ok well im having a problem where my screen dims and stuff likke that im sure u know but.... anyway i can connect to ssh when it is like this and i wanted to know if i could retart spring board with ssh or install something that can

if you have erica's utilities installed, "restart2" in the terminal should do it.
