On my 1.0.2 phone summerboard worked. On my 1.1.1 phone, can't get them to work. I don't get the SMBPerfs icon...nothing after installing a theme. Do I need to do something else first?

Are you using the latest summerboard, or are you using Summerboard(OLD)
Try to reinstall, if you are using the latest summerboard, if you are using the old, unstall and install the new.

I installed the old via SSH but updated it. Isn't that ok?

How do I install the new?

If it works then its OK. If not then uninstall the old and install the new fresh
