iPhone mail app ahngs

Hi,

Recently my iPhone mail app hangs/crashes when i touche the mail icon.
I get a blank screen, the only way to get out of it is to use the top and middle buttons.

Is there a way to reinstall the mobile mail in the iPhone with out restoring the whole phone?

Where do i find this app "stand alone download"

I have removed the accounts.plist and setup my accont again.
Now i have 8 new mail on top of my mail icon, but still it hangs
when i touche the mail icon....

Suggestions? or at least how to reinstall the mobile mail app...
