does your 1.1.1 springboard seem to crash a lot?

or does your phone ever restart springboard after crashing when opening applications?

I used iDemocracy 1.1.1

It was fool proof. I had problems with other methods and it took me hours and I was set on staying with 1.0.2 as it was wasting alot of my time.

I found iDemocracy and said what the hell and tried it. Very quick and easy. Full step by step instructions and it tells you what to expect with every step. Now I have no problems. I also used WINstaller when I got to the point of needing to activate when I downgraded to 1.0.2

Works great.

springboard crash

I have been having this same issue! I even completely restored my phone and re-jailbroke it, but I was still having the same issue. I did have DIM wallpaper on. I am going to turn this off and see what it does for me. It has been really annoying.

If you have used jailbreakme.com, apps crash a lot, you tube don't play (check youtube) then you may need the patch to fix crashing problem.

Here's my experience. I had DIM Wallpaper off, which is default when you first install Summerboard. The phone ran great. The phone was upgraded to 1.1.1 first day i activated the phone and used jailbreakme.com to jailbreak it. Once i turned DIM wallpaper on, i noticed everything wanted to run slower, random crashes and going back to the locked screen. Turned the DIM off and it runs like butter again.

Thanks for the help!

The only time my iPhone ever crashed was when Summerboard was installed (whether DIM was on or not). Once I got rid of Summerboard, everything went back to normal.

Well, I first decided that I wanted a black wallpaper, so I turned wallpaper off, and realized it stopped crashing.

Then I decided to experiment with the settings, knowing that Summerboard was the source of the problems, and found it to be that setting (dim wallpaper)
